What This Feature Does
Automatic Patient Updates:
-
When a patient submits a form, their demographic details are automatically synced to both CareCru and Tracker based on the information provided.
Synced fields include:
- First Name / Last Name
- Address
- Birthday
- Gender
- Phone
No Overwriting Rule
-
Existing patient demographic details in Tracker remain unchanged, except for Address data.
- Missing address details will be added automatically.
- If any address information in the recent form submission is different from what is on file, that field will be updated (overwritten).
Medical Alerts Created:
-
Allergies, prescriptions, and medical conditions are added as Important Notes in the patient’s Notes/Alerts tab in Tracker.
-
In your Tracker Schedule, appointments for these patients will show a red cross icon and be highlighted in red for quick visibility.
How to Access Synced Data
-
Patient Profile:
- View updated demographics directly in the patient’s Tracker profile.
-
Medical Notes:
- Navigate to Notes in the patient’s file to review alerts.
-
Need to edit? Notes can be edited once available in Tracker, including turning off the Important/Alert flag.
⚠️Note: Tracker locks medical alerts 24 hours after creation.
Why This Matters
- ⏱️ Save time: Automate data entry so your team can focus on patient care.
- ✅ Reduce errors: Critical details like allergies sync accurately, avoiding manual typing mistakes.
