Every patient is different. Some patients appreciate multiple reminders, while others prefer fewer communications from your practice.
CareCru allows you to customize reminder and recall frequencies for individual patients, giving your team greater flexibility while maintaining a positive patient experience.
📋 What Does Changing Message Frequency Do?
Adjusting a patient's messaging frequency allows you to control how often Donna contacts that specific patient for:
- Appointment reminders (including Save the Dates)
- Recall reminders
This setting overrides the practice's default communication schedule for that patient only.
💡 Use this feature when a patient requests fewer reminders than your standard office settings.
🛠️ How to Change Message Frequency
Locate the patient by:
Searching for them using the 🔍 Search bar, or
Clicking their name anywhere within CareCru
Open their Unified Patient Profile.
Select the Settings tab within the patient profile.
Under Donna's Workflows, select the section the patient's communication you want to update and toggle off the messaging as a whole (ie: all Save the Dates), or specific touchpoint.
Click Save to apply the updated preferences.
