The Follow Up action in CareCru is an effective tool to create a To-Do list for yourself and others in the practice. They allow you to set a follow-up reminder for a specific patient to track time-sensitive tasks such as:

Following up on a Treatment Plan
-
Collection of a payment
-
Scheduling appointments
-
and more!
A Follow Up can be created using the Actions menu, which is conveniently located throughout the CareCru platform. You can find the Actions menu in the following areas:

From Patient Management, on the Patient Info view

Directly on the Patient Profile section

From Chat, by going to the Patient Info sidebar

How to Add a Follow Up

Click on the Actions menu as shown in the above screenshots

Select Add Follow Up from the drop-down list

Enter a Due Date to be reminded of the Follow Ip on that day

Select a Reason for the Follow Up from the dropdown list

Select Assigned to (by default it will be assigned to you)

Add a Note in the box with any additional notes required

Click Add
How to Edit a Follow Up

Navigate to the Patients Profile where the Follow Up was created

Under Timeline & Activities, navigate to the Follow Up note and click on the bolded header

Edit any of the fields the fields entered prior:
- Change the Task Completed toggle to ON
- Due date
- Reason
- Assigned to
- Note
Click Update to save your changes
How to Delete a Follow Up

Navigate to the Patients Profile where the Follow Up was created

Under Timeline & Activities, navigate to the Follow Up note and hover over the bolded header and note the garbage can icon appear

Confirm deletion through pop-up window
💡We recommend you only delete Follow Ups that are added by mistake.
If completed, mark it as Completed to log your work.📖Can't find a Follow Up?
